365id Cloudbeds Extension

How to connect 365id with cloudbeds

Connecting 365id to Cloudbeds PMS for the first time:

  1. Click Account in the right corner user
  2. Select Apps & marketplace add
  3. Search for the 365id app 
  4. Click “LEARN MORE” on the 365id app
  5. Click on the “CONNECT APP”

The application authorization page will display the permissions the app is requesting. Click ‘Allow Access’ to proceed and confirm the connection.

When you have clicked on “Allow Access” 365id will follow up shortly with any additional onboarding instructions. 

Once you are ready to move forward 365id support will create a token that you will insert in your downloaded browser extension

  1. Press on blue button – Add to chrome 
  2. Press Add extension
  3. Extension has been added to chrome
  4. Click to pin the extension

Press the 365id extension at the top right corner and the following message will appear. 

  1. Press the Go to Settings button. Enter the API Key that you will get from the 365id support in the text box and press Save Settings. 

  2. The extension is now ready to use. The extension is now ready to use.

Work flow: 

  • Scan the document in the 365id Scanner
  • Go to the guest details of the guest you want to update
  • Click on the browser extension in the right corner
  • Select your scan from the list, the page will reload automatically, and the guest information will be updated

To disconnect, it is necessary to follow standard procedure of disconnecting an app in Cloudbeds PMS.

To add an additional guest, the email field is required. A placeholder email will be created, which can be overwritten after the scan.

Can I use 365id on multiple check-in points?

Yes,  our cloud based 365id scanners can be used at multiple check in counters/desks, depending on your hotel’s needs. 

365id supports passports, identity cards,  and driver’s licenses, from all the countries around the world.  

After the document is scanned and verified, the guest’s information is securely sent to Cloudbeds PMS in real time, reducing manual data entry.

You’ll need a 365id scanner, an internet connection, and access to your Cloudbeds PMS. You will also need our 365id Cloudbeds browser extension.

Yes, 365id is fully compliant with GDPR and other data privacy regulations. All scanned data is handled securely.
